We packed the house for SMCLA’s July 23 location-based marketing talk at the stunning Golin Harris offices in downtown Los Angeles.

Our stellar panel included moderator Patricia Handschigel, also known as @GetCondiment; Patrice Anderson of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf – @TheCoffeeBean; Rob Reed, founder of MomentFeed – @MomentFeed; Myles Sutherland of ESRI – @MylesSutherland; and Stephan Merkens of WCG – @StephanMerkens.

The speakers shared deep expertise on everything from the location-based platforms your business needs to use (Foursquare, Facebook, Google Places, Instagram, and Yelp), to marketing tips, dealing with complaints, and the critical importance of measurement.

The audience engaged panelists from the get-go, led by Angelique Toschi’s astute questions and the indefatigable Jeremy Pepper.

Tweets streamed out from the event, topping Twitter’s mobile trend list (thank you to our savvy attendees for making this happen!).

Everyone was treated to a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf gift card, generously donated by Anderson, who also brought a sumptuous gift basket filled with fresh coffee beans and treats.
