Dear SMCLA Members and Friends,

On behalf of the Board of Directors for Social Media Club Los Angeles (SMCLA), I would like to introduce you to and welcome you to our 2017 series of panels and networking events.

If you are unfamiliar with SMCLA, we are a local chapter of a national nonprofit that’s dedicated to promoting digital literacy and best practices. We host monthly panels on social media and marketing topics and networking events and our Board of Directors is a volunteer based Board comprised of Social Media, Marketing, and PR professionals.

Last year, we formed a partnership with General Assembly (GA) and we will be continuing this relationship for 2017. All of our events (minus our networking happy hours) will now be hosted at GA’s Santa Monica or Downtown LA locations. We are very grateful to be working with a wonderful organization like GA and to have such great locations for our panels and workshops. The Santa Monica location is right around the corner from Third Street Promenade and the newly opened Downtown LA location is in the heart of Little Tokyo.

This year, we are focused on bringing you a calendar of events that is packed with information we believe you want to and should know about. Here’s a sneak peak into our first couple of events:
