About The Panelists
Vanessa Jamieson – Analytics Director, Way to Blue (@waytoblueus)
Vanessa Jamieson is Director of Analytics at Way To Blue. She has 10 years experience in quantitative research and analytics in the entertainment sector. Previously she was at MarketCast, a global research and consulting firm for the entertainment sector, as Associate Director, Product Development. Prior to this role she spent 3 years in London launching an office for MarketCast in London, and before that worked an analyst across Brand, Media testing, and Tracking Research. She started her career at OTX (now Ipsos) working on online data collection for media testing in the entertainment sector. She has a Ph.D. in Applied Methodology and MA in Organizational Behavior from the Claremont Colleges, and BS in Biological Psychology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego.
Michael Riscucci – Sales Director, Tracx (@Rizooch)
Michael leads the Sales efforts in the Western US and APAC for Tracx US. Michael is a veteran Sales Executive with 20 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industries working with some of the largest market research firms in the world, including Nielsen, TNS and Kantar Media. He brings extensive experience in sales for new business segments, as well as a strong background in expanding business development in new and emerging markets.
Previously, Michael held Senior Sales positions at Nielsen, Ziff Davis, Kantar Media, Ace Metrix and FanAppz. Michael has worked with marketers, ad agencies, movie studios, television networks with experience in both traditional and digital marketing.
Darin Wolter – EVP Global Sales, Marketwired/Sysomos (@dwolter)
Darin has over 8 years’ experience in digital media, and is an expert in interactive marketing and social media. Having worked with global clients such as Verizon Wireless, Visa, Intel, Clorox, Google, Kaiser Permanente, and multinational agencies like Edelman, Fleishman-Hillard, and W2O Group, he understands the importance of monitoring and engaging with consumers to maintain a brand’s positive online reputation. Darin is in charge of managing Sysomos’ global sales team, developing Sysomos’ presence in international markets, and keeping their offerings at the forefront of the social intelligence space.
Vicky Del Cid – Social Media Analyst, Farmers Insurance (@wearefarmers)
Eric Forst – CSO, Synapsify/former sales at Visible Intelligence (@eforst)
Eric Forst serves as Chief Sales Officer of Synapsify, Inc., a text analytics software company. Previously, he was VP business development for Banyan Branch, a social media and digital agency, and he headed West Coast sales and global agency partnerships for Visible Technologies, a social media analytics platform. Eric has also headed corporate marketing for Traffic Marketplace, one of the Internet’s largest display advertising networks, and for Agile-1, a hosted software solution for the staffing industry. He is a frequent speaker on social media and marketing and has presented at venues including Text Analytics World, the Semantic Technology Business Conference, MediaPosts’ OMMA conferences, Gravity Summit and Digital Hollywood. Eric received his MFA in English/Creative Writing from UMASS, Amherst and his BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
