Stella Louise has over 10 years of experience in digital marketing. As one of the first 10-15 employees recruited for start-up Savings.com in 2008, several years prior to its $100M sale to Cox Media, she was able to finally put her B.A. in English to good use.
Starting out as one of a two-person paid search (SEM) team, she later transitioned to SEO and was responsible for the growth and development of the company blog, facilitating its inclusion to be indexed by Google News and managing a team of over a dozen internal and external bloggers.
After Savings, she landed a marketing role with pioneer loyalty brand, MyPoints.com, eventually handling all aspects of member experience marketing, including email, social media and a variety promotion and retention campaigns. Following MyPoints’ acquisition by Prodege LLC, owner of competitor loyalty program Swagbucks, Stella relocated back to Los Angeles from San Francisco and currently works at Prodege’s headquarters in El Segundo.
Prior to becoming immersed in all things ecommerce marketing, Stella had roles in business management and finance and is excited to leverage those skills as SMCLA’s Director of Finance.
