Calling all content creators, influencers, social media managers, digital strategists, social platforms, nonprofits, and brands/agencies. Are you putting video front and center as part of your social media strategy? You should be. All social media platforms favor video in their algorithm and the gold rush is now on to control the eyeballs consuming your content.
Should you create video solely for Facebook? What are you doing with Instagram Stories? Is YouTube still the only game in town as a video destination? And how about live streaming – how does going live increase engagement? What is Twitch and why should you care? Are you using Linkedin video for B2B opportunities? These questions, along with best practices and case studies, will be front and center at this pre-VidCon panel!

Director Digital Strategy – Al Roker Entertainment
Producer/Writer – JBM Los Angeles
As a freelance marketing and digital content producer, I work with a diverse set of clients including Al Roker and his production company, Al Roker Entertainment, Inc. Since 2012, I’ve added the digital and social broadcasting elements to the slate of traditional media TV programs and branded content produced by ARE (http://www.alroker.com). I also handled the marketing and messaging for programs emanating out of ARE, as well as Al’s personal social media platforms (for Al Roker’s books, non-profit charitable activity, and personal appearances). Through JBM Los Angeles, I produce digital content for social media platforms for non-profits, musicians, brands; and am excited to bring the story of Nobel Peace Prize recipient and founder of the African environmental Green Belt Movement, Wangari Mathai to life in September 2018 through the music of Latin Jazz artist, Carli Munoz. Entertainment marketing/branding has long been my core specialty, formerly managing the retail & catalog marketing direction at Capitol Records, EMI Music, BMG, and independent music labels.
